A film by Pierre Morel
Cast: Cyril Raffaelli, David Belle, Tony D’Amario
English: District 13.
Set in 2010, “District” crime has gotten so out of control that the government has erected a wall to isolate a suburban ghetto from Paris . Leïto is one of few residents to challenge gang leaders, who are handsomely profiting from illegal activities inside. When he is unjustly imprisoned, Damien, part of an elite police force, offers to free him on the condition that Leïto will help him locate a so-called clean bomb. Set to go off within hours, it’s been stolen by the bad guys of B13.
Here is a cool futuristic film that a couple stunt men has acted in so they can do their own stunt plus that saved a lot of money to the studio plus you get to see the faves as they do the stunts. There is no CGI here what so ever. The stunts here are breath taking. There is the usual suspect here :A criminal kingpin, a damsel in distress, an honest cop, a noble criminal, corrupt officials, double crosses. The first 20 minutes of the film is awesome a sort of fusion of martial arts and running on the roof top and such. The characters are well develop and the stories flies. Just enjoy the ride and have fun with it.
