LA LIGNE DE DEMARCATION (1966)

A film by Claude Chabrol.
Cast: Jean Seberg, Maurice Ronet, Daniel Gélin.
1941. A little town in the Jura is cut in half by a river that forms the border between Nazi-occupied France and the free zone.
Suddenly A group of people cross the river and gets killed by the germans except for one who is hurt. The doctor of the village get him well enough so he can escape and when he does the village is turn upside down. This is a well-thought out script ,adapted from the Colonel Remy’s book based on his memoirs .
