A film by Olivier Nakache, Eric Toledano

Cast: Omar Sy, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Tahar Rahim

Samba (Omar Sy) migrated to France 10 years ago from Senegal, and has been working in a number of job. Alice (Charlotte Gainsbourg) is a burn out executive who had a high power job both struggle to get their life together. Samba wants to stay in France but his stay is not longer welcome he has to get an extension and Alice is under going therapy loaded up with prescription medicine. Both meet one day and suddenly their life is turned upside down sort of speak.

Here is a simple story and like many Immigrants who are illegal and trying to make a buck to sent home to their family they live in fear of being caught at all the time. When I came back to my country a while back I saw that there where more African there. Does not surprise me because in African in certain states it is not going well and peole wants to get out and go to an other country for a better life. It  is a light hearted comedy/Drama. This film speaks to those who had a romantic relationship with an illegal immigrant, they will be able to relate to it. Samba is desperate to stay in France and he is waiting to get papers to stay in France because his old paper has been expired. He his sending money to his family to Senegal. He is trying to stay low and invisible but trouble seems to find him. Overall a terrific romantic comedy/ drama not to be missed.
