A film by Paul W.S. Anderson

Cast: Milla Jovovich, Iain Glen, Ali Larter

The Resident Evil film series has been around for a long time now, this is now the sixth film in the series and the last one it seems. You will see the ending. It is fun to watch it all anyway I still love the first one.

Director Paul W.S. Anderson has done well with this one, the film is entertaining, fun, action packed and fast paced and the visual with the special effects that contain the gore and the violence to go with it. The film start with the narrative of Alice played by Jovovich of what happened to her 10 years earlier and what she has to do now. Let’s go to the hive. It is a fun action film here with a stunning visual plus the fighting, gun blazing, slashing throat, cutting off fingers etc… It is a bit predictable especially at the end but I have seen about 8,000 movies in my life time so I know how Hollywood thinks. I would went the other way. It is a guilty pleasure at its best and some of you might think it is the best one yet. Maybe who knows, it is purely entertaining  just fasting you seat belts this film is going to go into high-octane. Have fun.

  1. I’m really looking forward to watching this one. I think MIlla & Co have managed to keep a fair quality standard throughout the whole franchise, even if some of the entries have been a bit wobbly. I very much enjoy the world they have created and find Milla’s character very intriguing. Sure, it’s Hollywood popcorn, but of the better variety.
