Ok we all know that if we don’t do something to protect the environment it is all going to hell. Here is a woman who is against the aluminum industry who is polluting the island in Iceland. A deal is going through with china that might go sour due to the fact Halla is sabotaging it. She is on the war path. But suddenly she has this news that she can adopt an Ukrainian orphan. Can she pursuit her work before she has to pick up this Orphan. Will she be more motivated in protecting the environment due to the fact she is going to adopt a child.
The thing is the director has written this absurd comedy / thriller like a fable such as having the musicians play the score on the border of the road, or at the apartment she lives in and so on. It is a little weird but you get used to it. In the mixed there is a latin American tourist riding in bicycle who keeps getting arrested as a suspect in Halla’s crimes. Too funny there. Yes there are a cousin well alleged cousin of hers that is helping her. A nice little comedy out of the ordinary a welcoming change with beautiful scenery of Iceland. What she has a twin sister? Ho! boy.
